LETTER: Convenient living near the airport

After all Gatwick Airport has been in situ for many many years, probably longer than many of the people who are complaining have lived in the area.

I note that there are residents of Rowhook who moved to get away from the village, Perhaps they should have moved away from the area to escape the aircraft noise as well as the village.

I should mention that Billingshurst appears to be on the arrivals flight path but I am not planning to move. It is too convenient for holiday departures.

Perhaps we should produce our own banners - GAPS, Gatwick Airport Protection Society.
