LETTER: Flyer is totally out of order

I have just received an early local election flyer from the Tory Party with four pictures, including Katy Bourne: 'How to contact your local Ifield Conservative Action Team'.

Since when has Katy Bourne, Police & Crime Commissioner (PCC) for Sussex, been endorsing the local Tory party in Ifield?

I thought the PCC role was to be seen as non-political and independent of politics - especially party-politics.

Using the Police & Crime Commissioner for political propaganda such as this seems totally out of order, and brings the whole role into disrepute.
