LETTER: Money ran out for festive cheer
Obviously, after spending close to a million pounds on new paving, and a few impractical seats and bins, HDC ran out of money for the Christmas lighting scheme in Horsham’s West Street.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a pathetic attempt at bringing in the thousands of extra shoppers that the council was trying for when it started on this white elephant!
