On the ‘Your Pictures’ page (July 9, p.69) there is a photo of a mystery plant, sent in by Lyle Milner.

I’d suggest it’s a giant echium, which takes two to three years to flower and is stunning!

Happy gardening, and if Lyle doesn’t want his plant I’d be very happy to take it off his hands.
