LETTER: Our community in Horsham is wonderful

May I, through your paper, thank everyone involved in helping to remove myself and my bicycle from Rushams Road in Horsham on Thursday November 26.

A slight ‘bump’ from a motorist caused me to sprawl across the road, luckily some kind gentlemen stopped the traffic while I lay in the road, another gentleman, a fellow cyclist offered help, and a student nurse also offered, thank you all.

The biggest THANK YOU goes to Sue Robinson and Anna Caunter, between them I was picked up, bike wheeled to Anna’s house, whilst Anna drove me there (causing her daughter Hannah to be late for school)where a cup of much-needed tea and sympathy was given.

What a wonderful community we live in, thank you all, and just to let them know, I am only bruised.
