LETTER: Praise for HDC’s swift response
There is not enough praise given these days so I am writing to express my thanks to Horsham District Council for their prompt response.
On the evening of Monday 23rd June I lost 60p in their pay machine in the car park opposite the cinema. I emailed the next morning and on Friday 27th received, by post, a voucher for one hour’s parking to display in my car.
This contrasts with when I lost £6.50 in a machine in Bognor town centre and when I wrote to Arun District Council I received a curt reply stating their was nothing wrong with their machine!!
