LETTER: Qualities to look for in councillors
May I congratulate you on your excellent report on the activities of the HDC Conservative Group.
Like many other Horsham residents, who have a genuine respect for publicly-elected officials, I was saddened to read that voting against a certain proposal was not an option and, even worse, subject to disciplining action.
I am equally sure that the good people of Horsham will not accept the rather lengthy and rambling explanation for what was, clearly, an undemocratic process.
Whatever happens next we all now know how decisions are arrived at and what qualities to look for in our councillors.
