LETTER: Question over conflicts
Mayfield Market Towns Director Lee Newlyn (New market town proposal is ‘entirely unacceptable’ - MPs, WSCT p26, June 27) says: “Lord Matthew Taylor is one of our directors, as well as being chair of the National Housing Federation....There is no conflict in his role helping us shape a new community in Sussex, alongside his work reviewing Government planning guidance”
And how, pray tell us Mr Newlyn, do you work that one out ?!
That’s rather like saying Francis Maude is an MP representing Horsham, and there is no conflict of interest in his role as a Trilateral Commission member.
