LETTER: Tarmac the grass verges

It good to see that someone is complaining about lorries churning up the grass verges in Crawley, but it is not only the lorries, it is drivers that park on the verges too!

Isn’t about time that the grass verges were all tarmac and if this was done drivers would be able to park off the roads, which then allow lorries and especially emergency vehicles a clear route through. It would also save money on the regular cutting of the grass.
