LETTER: The Swift Art Exhibition
In reply to Ben Wakefield’s letter (WSCT June 20) querying Horsham District Council’s Horsham Museum & Art Gallery’s advertising of Kerry Swift’s exhibition of paintings, we normally plan our exhibitions a good year in advance and have advertising material in place well before an exhibition opens.
In this case Kerry Swift approached us a few months back to ask if we might display her work, and having a free slot available in the Hurst Room offered her the space this summer.
The exhibition is advertised on the museum’s website, www.horshammuseum.org, along with all the other exhibitions currently displaying, and in the museum foyer. There is still plenty of time to view Kerry’s exhibition, which closes on 27 July 2013.
