LETTER: Where is light?

ONCE again we enjoyed the Christmas street party in Midhurst organised by the town council which also arranged the right sort of weather on a December evening.

Midhurst Primary School Musical Mayhem band always put on a lively foot-tapping show, including at the Grange Fayre. So well done to all of them.

The shop windows are thoughtfully decorated each year so congratulations to all the businesses who entered the competition.

My favourite, though not included, was Martin Chevis’ hairdressers – stunning – which was open for all to see on the Friday Christmas evening.

Families enjoyed visiting the reindeer on Saturday in Market Square which must have been a first for many.

During the summer there was a MADhurst competition for spotting things on buildings.

Can I claim the prize for spotting the missing Christmas light on the old Egremont Hotel building please?

The fixture seems to be on the pole so did the town council overlook it? There is still time...

The North Street lights are decorative, clean and smart, so well done to those responsible.
