LibDem Sue is not for turning blue

THROUGH your letters column, Geoffrey Goodsell invited me to join the Conservatives (4/5/12).

He’s never mentioned this before and I see him most months as I regularly attend Bodiam Parish Council meetings.

Perhaps he hasn’t mentioned his offer to his Conservative colleagues either as my guess is that they wouldn’t want me!

I have to let him know that I would much rather fight for what our villages need, as opposed to being voting fodder for the Conservative majority down in Bexhill. There’s plenty to fight for in my patch: the long-requested footpath from Blacksmiths Field to Bodiam School, a sports hall for Robertsbridge Community College, the parking problems in Robertsbridge, the Mill site, a new village shop for Hurst Green - to name just a few.

So finally, sorry Geoffrey, but I will continue to work for all residents regardless of their politics.
