Little attemptto clear snowfrom station
I WAS very interested to read of the councillors’ efforts in clearing snow after last Sunday’s fall. My sister passed by the police station in Rye, just after 2pm, for it is only open from 10am - 2pm. No clearance had taken place at all.
The station is full of able-bodied policemen but no effort had been made to clear it at all. She left a message on the yellow phone at the door.
The same applied at the Post Office.
