Looks OK '“ but wait for the detail

As an Arundel resident it looks as if more trains will call at Arundel than is currently the case.

But we won't know until we see the detail. It's always the detail that is so important!

I was in London last evening for a dinner.

It finished earlyish, at 10.45pm, but that was too late for me to catch the last train to Arundel, which departs Victoria at 10.32pm.

This is an absurdly early time and must affect many people from West Sussex, who, as a result have to either stay in London or drive from Gatwick.

This is totally against the current emphasis on reducing carbon emissions.

Maybe Southern as part of their service alterations are going to do something about it, but I'm not going to hold my breath!
