Master plan

On Thursday, I attended the meeting where the plans for the future building development off Roundstone Lane were presented.

On asking how the developers were planning to handle the increase of traffic that would use Roundstone Lane, the High Street and Weavers Hill, I was informed that all resources would be channelled to improving the A259 and road calming methods would be placed to discourage any traffic intending to travel to the village or the north.

Before the village is completely brought to a stand still, surely the authorities so intent on moving people into the area should plan and implement an infrastructure that will cope with their grandiose ideas before allowing any further houses to be built?

What about a little common sense?
