Maybe we should move the arch?

From your article last week ‘Save the Landgate Arch’ and the requirement to have a ‘Friends of Landgate Arch’ set up to help keep something which is historical in our town I have a suggestion.

Rother should take the Landgate Arch down brick by brick, move it to Bexhill and rebuild it so they have some History and then maybe they will look after it, it appals me to think that RDC waste our money on so many facilities that never benefit anyone locally in Rye.

Instead of Friends of Landgate Arch maybe we need Friends of Rye or what used to be called Rye Borough Council to look after our own affairs.
