Jasmine Jefferson, of Coxham Lane, Steyning visited The Children’s Trust in Tadworth, Surrey on Monday (14 April).
During her visit she found out how her fundraising effort would help the charity continue to support children with brain injury in their rehabilitation.
Jasmine came 17 place out of 170 children who took part in the Brighton Mini Mile on 5 April. She raised over raised over £150.
She said: “I would like to say a big thank you to all the people who sponsored me, this makes a lot of other children happy.”
Jasmine chose the charity by researching on the internet and watching a video about The Children’s Trust.
She said: “On the video it explained that some children find it difficult to do things when they have a brain injury but when they go to The Children’s Trust they come along quite well and the video showed one little boy who was able to kick a ball after a long time not being able to.”
