Mum ‘humbled’ by support for coffee morning

On Thursday 21st November, I set about organising a fundraising coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. As a local Mum of three, I had no idea just what a successful and humbling event it would prove to be!

Having lost my Auntie to cancer in late September, I was determined to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support. The Macmillan nurses work tirelessly to help families such as mine cope through difficult times and support with the loss of a loved one.

In order to raise as much money as possible for this deserving charity, I decided to hold a raffle at my coffee morning and call upon local Horsham & Crawley businesses for their support. I was overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of so many. Donations of food, drink and gifts were kindly given.
