Needs modernising

I WOULD have thought that before supporting Coral Watson, Les Bittan(Observer, January 28) would have checked that she had got her facts right in her original letter.

1 East Sussex County Council are responsible for our roads.

2 Rother are a separate council to ESCC, as the name states.

3 Why should Rother hand money to ESCC? They have their own money (from our taxes).

All this fuss from people not liking Next Wave, I cannot wait for the comments when the shelters go up.

I am 70-years-old and have lived in Bexhill most of my adult life. It’s a lovely town but it does need to be modernised a bit.

Complain about pot holes, but to the right council and tell them where they are.
