New estate is paradise for gulls
I understand the Rye sea gulls are very grateful to the developers of Valley Park.
Artificial chimney pots have been put on the houses just in time for the breeding season and in the lower part of the development there is a drainage pool that will be appreciated by the young birds.
When the drainage pool fills with water which cannot drain into the river, the area will be great for all the gulls in the area.
The friendly squawk of the birds will be a great comfort to the residents.
