Newspaper deliveries impress

I WOULD just like to express my appreciation to the gentleman from Hardham Road Post Office in Chichester, who delivers newspapers to areas which include Slindon.

There were always deliveries to this village during the worst of the snow and ice – even along unmade-up dirt country lanes, where few dared venture after the first heavy snowfall came last Wednesday.

Very understandably, the papers sometimes came late, but better late than never. I certainly didn't think I'd see any paper at all for days.
