NHS swift action

WE seem only to hear the horror stories about the NHS. Mine is the reverse.

I have recently finished treatment, after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

My GP, from the Park Surgery, Littlehampton, was swift to refer me to a consultant at Worthing Hospital. I needed surgery, which was performed at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

The surgeon was kindness itself and the team in the radiotherapy department were extremely compassionate. My grateful thanks to them all.
