No friendly faces

FURTHER to the comments by Hugh Milner and Susanna Humphries published March 29, I, too, was very upset at not being able to see my usual friendly faces of BBC South Today.

My television is also viewed via Virgin Media Cable, but I can still get BBC South Today via the Freeview channel as this is dependent on the signal recieved via my roof arial.

It would appear that it is only cable channels that gives us BBC South East Today.

When the main news switches to my “local channel” I quickly switch to Freeview to see what is going on in our area. I would have thought it was not beyond the techno’s brains to have sorted this out before the “switch” actually happened, perhaps they thought we wouldn’t notice or mind!
