No one losing out
In defence of the Garden Café, can I ask who exactly is F. Ritz, of Shopfield Close (Gazette letters, July 25)? Perhaps a disgruntled café owner who is jealous of its success?
This café is running very well and. as I said in my previous letter (Gazette, July 25), each time I go in , it’s very busy – as, I might add, all the other in Rustington eateries are, too. None are working at a loss, it seems.
So, the loss is the fact that this cafe does not have the advantage of a lower tax than other eateries in Rustington. This is why it’s £10,000 down. Thank the tax man for that.
