No way is Rye dull
With reference to the Allotments Association’s very successful “Party on the Plot” reported in last week’s Observer, a couple of mistakes crept into our text accompanying the photographs:
• The Flower and Vegetable Show is on Saturday 31st August
• I am not the Secretary. We are all most grateful to Mr Alan Mash who took over from me a year ago.
With so many events crowding the August calendar, it was inevitable that there would be overlap between our event and others on the same day. No-one need ever say that Rye is a dull place to live.
