Not good enough
We are on a self-inflicted treadmill of urban expansion and rural destruction, which naturally makes the Lyminster bypass necessary.
But, given that, it must be wondered what some four householders and more in Lyminster make of the plans. The layout appear to put these poor people into the middle of a virtual roundabout on this traffic-jammed main road.
Is that really the best that planners can do?
And a long-term question relates to the possible future improvement of the road north from Lyminster to Crossbush. This is still a rural lane, whereas the bypass is anything but. Or is that something not to be mentioned to those living there?
