Our daily walk on Eastbourne seafront should be a pleasure... cyclists, take note.

At a time when our roads are virtually deserted, I find it unbelievable that so many inconsiderate cyclists feel it is acceptable to use the promenade as their personal cycle/racing track, total ignoring all signs barring cycling.

I am not alone in having to use a walking aid when taking my daily allowed walk along the promenade.

It is difficult enough to weave in and out to maintain social distancing without having to be constantly aware of cyclists coming from all directions. This is particularly dangerous when they sneak up from behind as of course, being completely inconsiderate, they never use a bell.

Our daily walk should be a pleasure, particularly for older people living alone or those with young children to amuse, not a harrowing experience.
