Parking situation in Rye is out of control
SO at last someone has realised that the parking situation in Rye is out of control, but can one lone community officer deal with it, after all he can not be in two places at once.
Not a day goes by without cars being seen throughout the town straddling half across the pavements impeding the movement of mobility scooters, pushchairs, and the general public at large, parking on double yellow lines, and those who believe it is their right to outstay the allotted hour in the ‘hour only bays’.
If ever there was a need for a designated full time warden, it is here in Rye.
He/she would earn their keep.
