Parking woes to get worse in some Worthing roads

Meredith Road is also having big problems. I go to take my aunt shopping and to pop in to visit her, and there is never anywhere to park.

There are a lot of people parking very early in the morning to use the station and do not come back until late evening.

It does not help that these people often take up two spaces through inconsiderate parking. There is also the community house on the main road which also brings a number of car parkers. The weekend is the same.

The situation in Meredith Road is going to get no better as traffic is being pushed up to a road that already suffers with excessive parking.

This is a road that could do with parking restrictions. For us, it will soon be a case of my aunt not being able to go out as often as she likes as, due to age, she cannot physically manage a long walk.
