Parkinson’s help

I HAVE just read your story on Peter Hooker, who had Parkinson’s (“Parkinson’s concerns led to man’s suicide”, Gazette, February 28).

The piece is factually incorrect.

It says “Parkinson’s claimed the life of his brother in 2009.”

Parkinson’s doesn’t directly cause people to die, but symptoms do get worse over time.
