Perhaps we should stop feeding birds?

I WAS under the impression rats were vermin and their presence should be reported to the council.

Wrong! According to the representative from Rother District Council, it’s all my fault because of the bird feeder (a little house on a pole) in my garden!

This spells food insofar as rats are concerned.

Setting aside the fact the rats are coming from the adjacent jungle, scuttling along my property and regularly entering the garden the other side.

Thus, perhaps all bird feeders, seed, nuts, whatever, should be withdrawn from all supermarkets, pet shops and garden centres and the RSPB should consider disbanding!
