Pigeons tastier

I don’t mind Duncan Barkes’ endorsement of culling seagulls, even though people always go over the top with their reactions (a colander on the beach, for goodness sake!).

However, only after the wood pigeons have been culled.

They steal all the food you have put out for the little birds such as sparrows, tits and finches, and their cooing is so monotonous. The advantage of pigeon culling is that they are edible and tasty and their breasts can be bought at farmers’ markets, so culling them can pay for itself and not be a source of cost to society or our council tax.
