Praise for councillor

WE WOULD like to, through the Gazette, make people aware of the power of our local councillors. They have the ability to help when it seems all hope is lost.

Our local councillor is Mike Northeast (Ham Ward). He has proven to be extremely helpful with our housing problems over the past two years and has helped bring about many significant improvements to our area.

To quote Mr Northeast: “If nobody tells the councillor what the problem is he can’t put it right.”

Therefore our message is this – if you have any issues regarding where you live, please contact your local councillor. We are sure they will be willing to help if they know what the problem is. After all, isn’t that what we voted them in for?
