Prize-giving event for winners of Microbiz

On Thursday 16 April, exhibitors and sponsors met for a networking event and to give out prizes to those who had won at this year’s Horsham Microbiz, which took place on Saturday 14 March.

The 13th annual must-attend exhibition for small businesses was quoted as being one of the best yet with in the region of 40 exhibitors, seven free business master-classes and over 200 visitors on the day.

n Nick Freeman of Freeman PC Services who donated an Android tablet, which was won by Julie Alexander

n Susie Marshall of Johnson Press South Events who donated a run of four advertising slots in West Sussex County Times and Horsham Gazette which was won by Michael Fletcher of Fletchrics Ltd Electrical Contractors of Billingshurst

n Julian Shelley of Woodstock IT Services who donated a free 12 month subscription to ESET - anti- virus software which was won by Emma Wallace of UDDC Ltd

n Dee Blick of The Marketing Gym who donated a free copy of her latest book “ The Ultimate Guide to Writing and Marketing a Best Selling Book” which was won by Anji Marychurch of Career Coaching Ltd

n Charlotte Alfrey of Metro HR who donated a free HR audit or update to an HR policy which was won by Hilary Hinks of Arrow Project Services Ltd.

The event has been built around feedback from the thousands of visitors and exhibitors over the years and this year attendees were invited to complete a survey with the added incentive of winning some fantastic business prizes provided by these exhibitors.
