Public should dump waste on Cllrs
Before the saga of Green Waste Bins is put to bed and apathy kicks in am I permitted to offer a couple of suggestions?
1. simply wheel the bin to middle of road and tip up the waste onto the highway (on Collection day only - no need to be nasty).
2. Get the addresses of all R.D.C. councillors - freely available on the R.D.C. website and those residents living sufficiently close could make a present of a few bags of green waste outside the homes of the councillors. There is nothing like a bit of Jo Public direct action to concentrate the minds of “those who decide” and will be looking for support come next election day.
