Members enjoyed a lunch of poached salmon, new potatoes and peas, followed by heart-shaped meringues with strawberries, and other delicious home-made puddings.

Sainsbury’s Pulborough had sponsored the vegetables and also wine and soft drinks. June Reader and Lana Martin, members of the store came to help serve the lunch and at the end gave everyone a chocolate valentine’s gift.
