COULD you please ask the owner of the dog(s) who deposited, and left, nine large turds of dog faeces on the grass by the post box at the top of Mill Road, Lancing, by 10.30am onWednesday, December 3, please to come and collect them.

Honestly, we don't want them.

Actually, only a few yards away at the entrance to the Clump access road, there is a red and highly visible dog poo deposit box.

If that is just too much trouble for them, could they contact us, via the Herald, and we will be only too happy to deliver them to (outside of) their property.

Of course, in the meantime, there may be a responsible dog owner, among the dozens of Clump "users" who might "do the business" of clearing it away instead.
