Road plan has stagnated

For whilst the Bexhill/Hastings link Road is at last nearing completion, work on the Queensway Gateway (the vital connection from the A21 to that Link Road) has been stagnated.

And why? Because the Combe Haven Protest Group has raised totally ridiculous concerns about pollution on the planned Gateway route (rout would be a better word).

Now we will have to await the outcome of the November meeting of Hastings Borough Council, when further delays could be possible.

So whilst this misguided group pursue their mendacious protests, for years Battle will have to suffer congestion, frustration and pollution, pollution, pollution.
