Rye and Bexhill in same Rother boat
IT WAS with a sense of amazement I read the letter from Rita Cox suggesting that Rye residents felt they came a poor second best to the town of Bexhill, of which I am a resident.
A glance at our local paper would give her a very different view of how Bexhill residents see themselves in relation to the actions of Rother District Council in our town, especially along our Western Parade.
It is important to remember the Leader of the Council may not come from Rye, but he does not come from Bexhill either, and so, rather than seeing us as coming first, they should probably appreciate we are in the same boat!
