Sainsbury’s join school’s Healthy Week

Sainsbury’s Horsham visited Littlehaven Infant School to help them celebrate their Healthy Week.

Colleagues Jane Etheridge and Marge Healey from the Horsham Store attended the school armed with Smoothies for the children to taste.

Littlehaven’s Head Teacher Miss White said: “We were thrilled that Sainsbury’s agreed to join us and the children loved tasting the different smoothies.

“They had a lot of fun guessing the flavours and deciding which fruits and vegetables were in each one. The Sainsbury’s colleagues also described the health benefits of each ingredient so the children really learnt a lot.”

Sainsbury’s Horsham Store Manager Derek Boarer, said: “Our store is at the heart of the local community and is important we can play our part to support it. When we heard about Littlehaven Infant School’s Healthy Week, we were keen to get involved.”
