Sarah Rose, chairman of FOSA, said: “I’m delighted with the support we get from our fantastic community and I hope they’ll have pictures they’d like to share.

“We always have a colourful event with children’s traditional maypole dancing and the Sadcase club’s classic cars, and this year is just a bit extra special, celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the school being on its present site.

“A collection of photographs will bring back memories and add to the seventies spirit.

“Other contributions from the community are welcome too.”

The West Chiltington community school May Fair is on Saturday May 16 from 2-4pm. Activities will include a BBQ and bar, bouncy castle, dancing, face painting, games, produce stalls, fantastic prizes in the groovy Grand Raffle and more. Optional dress in 1970s style. Classic vehicles welcome.
