School show a fitting finale for the year six leavers

WE would like to congratulate the staff and pupils of Flora McDonald Junior School for their wonderful production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The show was well staged, with excellent set, sound system and lighting. The pupils acted, sang and danced to standards far above what you would normally expect from a school production and were a true credit to the dedicated staff who worked so hard on the production. The standing ovation at the end of the performance was well-deserved.

Our daughter was in the cast of this year six production and the show was a fitting culmination for her time at the school, along with her fellow classmates, as it showed the excellent teamwork the school has achieved between teachers, pupils and parents and how the children have developed into confident young people both academically and socially as they move on to their senior schools.

Well done and to Mr Williams and the staff at the school.

Martin and

Jan Combes
