School’s outstanding result

The Headteacher Mrs Anne Hudspith said: “The whole school community are delighted with the exemplary findings of this inspection.”

The report states that St Robert Southwell is an outstanding Catholic school because:

n The outcomes for pupils at St Robert Southwell are outstanding

n Pupils are extremely polite and helpful to visitors and this goes hand in hand with their outstanding behaviour

n The entire staff is committed to providing not only the best education possible for the children, but also a safe, secure environment where they can grow to know and love God

n The Headteacher who is the religious education curriculum leader, senior management team and governors give outstanding leadership to the direction of the Catholic life of the school and maintain its Catholic character

n Pupils’ achievement and enjoyment in RE is outstanding.
