School’s world of adventures for ‘Kids Out’ day

Accompanied by school staff and seven members of the Rotary Club of Cranleigh, the happy group spent a highly enjoyable day at Chessington World of Adventures.

The youngsters from St. Joseph’s School and the Jigsaw School in Cranleigh joined the throng of people from London and all over the South East for the special day at this favourite fun spot.

Cranleigh Rotarians helped to provide transport and look after them throughout the day. The entry fee was covered by the Cranleigh Rotary Club, and all of the children received a white “Kids Out” T-shirt and cap.

“As always, the event was a big hit and everyone enjoyed their day of adventure,” said Patrick Leake, who organised “Kids Out” on behalf of Cranleigh Rotary Club.

The first Rotary “Kids Out” outing took place in 1990 and since then some 25,000 disadvantaged children across the UK have been able to enjoy these special events.
