Senior Chaplain at Christ’s Hospital publishes book

He has recently published a book, Connect: Friendship // God // Faith which aims to help anyone wishing to think about and engage with the Christian faith.

His book is based on the conviction that a friendship with God is at the heart of the Christian faith. Signs of God’s reality are explored and honest doubts discussed, with the final section suggesting ways in which a friendship with God might grow. Issues are introduced through stories as well as arguments and there are opportunities for personal reflection along the way. If you are open to the possibility of a friendship with God and are willing to think through the issues then this book is for you.

Stephen believes that there are good reasons for being a Christian and those honest questions deserve honest answers. He has studied Biology and Geography as well as Theology at degree level and has a Masters in Philosophy and Religion. His twin convictions are that the Christian faith is intellectually reasonable and that it is essentially about the possibility of a personal friendship with God.
