Sincere thanks

On behalf of all our members of the Worthing branch of the Parachute Regimental Association (PRA), we would like to sincerely thank all the residents of Rustington and surrounding districts, and customers at Haskins Roundstone garden centre, Angmering, for their kind and generous donations at our street collection on Saturday, June 14.

Funds raised will go towards the care of ex-paras, who have served through the following conflicts – the Second World War, Palestine, the Canal Zone and Suez, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan. Widows of ex-paras and their families are also supported where there is a need. We raised the grand sum of £837.04, which will be split between the Parachute Regiment Securities Fund and the Afghanistan Trust and charity BLESMA, The Limbless Veterans.
