Slats not the way to do it
ONCE again, that ugly bench comes into the picture. I, like many residents, am very much against this proposal.
It will do nothing to encourage much-needed trippers and holidaymakers, who bring extra revenue into our dying economy.
I suppose it hasn't occurred to the council that kids could get badly hurt jumping off the bench on their skateboards, as they do now, or even running along a tempting, long seat for fun.
