So grateful for wonderful care

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the Normanhurst for their care of my Aunt Cecil Dunning for the past two-and-a-half years.

I moved her there in the summer of 2014 when her failing memory made it unwise for her to stay in her own home. I did this with some trepidation as I knew what a loss of independence this was for her.

On arrival we were immediately made welcome and Cecil was helped to settle in. I visited her frequently, and had the opportunity to see how the staff looked after both her and the other residents there. Their kindness, cheerfulness and genuine care for their guests impressed me no end.

Residents are always treated with dignity and respect, the staff in all areas of the service were always ready with a smile and a hello and visiting her was a pleasure.

In the time she spent there until her recent death she was extremely happy and very well looked after and I feel very grateful that her final years were so thoroughly enhanced by her stay there.
