AS CHAIRMAN of the Rope Walk Residents’ Association, I would like to say a big thank-you to all the people who made our community enhancement project possible.

Without the following people, this project may never have happened.

I would like to thank Robert Boyce and Joe for supplying the boat and manpower, Emma Finnamore for having the boat painted and for providing the manpower for it to be put into place, Mel Bates for the signwriting, Valerie Lee, Joan Rickard, Jackie Chandler, Shirley Phillips, Eileen Rumbold, David Lee and other residents for their ongoing support and help in planting, and serving as committee members.

I would also say a big thank-you to councillors Ian Buckland and Malcolm Belchamber for their continuous support and hard work, to help us make our community a better place, and the assistant town clerk, Rosie Parfitt, whose help with funding and support has been invaluable.
