Littlehampton’s MP Nick Gibb is the latest to utter such comments (Gazette, February 19), regarding the proposed solar farm at Brookbank Farm, Lyminster.

I am not in any way commenting on the merits or de-merits of the scheme. merely Mr Gibb’s words that ‘such farms should be constructed away from people’s houses’.

How about the countryside? That’s definitely ‘away from people’s homes’.
